Only plus point is the location, very central
1 - room was dirty, thick layers of dust! 2- shower looked like it had never been cleaned! 3- breakfast consisted of a piece of toast with jam, nothing else! 4- had to go down 4 flights of stairs just for a cup of hot water, no facilities in room. 5- tv didn't even work properly, was an aerial attached, I.E. Nothing connected to the wall so kept having to fiddle about just to get a fuzzy reception. Generally speaking this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and even with the location being good I would never stay there again!!!!
Great Location, budget room, didnt stay for breakfast
dirty cup and unhelpful staff at breakfast
Lying in bed and watching the tele.
Staff were rude, very unprofessional, wore the same clothes all the time. The breakfast was of poor quality and one member off staff walked through the dining room in bare feet. We were given the wrong room to start off with. We had to ask for a hair dryer and freeview box. The shower stopped working at one point.
The location of this hotel was idea for my trip as it was near Hyde Park. Plenty of places to eat & drink around the hotel, and lots of bus services to take you to Marble Arch, Oxford Circus & more central London.
The room was very basic, and in need of some serious tlc. No hot water for a shower, and while bed linen was clean, everything else was dusty and in need of some soap & water.
The room was small and very dirty in comparison to what it could have looked like if only they had taken the time to clean it and repair the simplest things. Tv set was broken, curtains were almost falling off the wall. All in all not a nightmare, but certainly not worth the money. Guests should make sure that they bring a lot of tolerance!
Hotel is positioned over the road from Paddington making travel from the hotel very quick and easy
Room was small and breakfast had limited choice
Absolutely nothing other than the location
Everything was wrong. The room was incredibly small. Breakfast was a joke. Hotel staff were rude and unwilling to help or change what was wrong. Not too expensive but not worth it.
1. Convenience location, just opposite the tube station & easy access by bus or walking to shopping area. 2. Free Wi-Fi facilities 3. Reception staff is helpful.
1. No lift access to hotel floor, rather difficult for traveller with big lugguage or older travellers. 2. Breakfast is miserable as it did not cater reasonable portion for hotel guest. We end up not having breakfast because they told us the breakfast had finished up by the earlier guests. 3. Room is very small with little walking space to open up our luggage. 4. TV reception is poor & no air-con, so it's hot during summer.
dirty bed linen, broken down boiler so not able to shower or wash.electic cables looked unsafe ,broken toilet seat.dirty carpets.the breakfast was stale bread and jam on diry place mats i could go on and on
Location is close to train station
The worst hotel I have stayed. No hot water for bathing at night. Asked for hair dryer 3 times and finally got it by myself waiting at the reception but the staff was playing his mobile phone. Made me have a bad feeling to uk hotel
Leaving it a day early. The place is terrible.
Pretty much everything. Everything is in very poor repair. Everything is of the cheapest materials, even the soap (which barely functions as soap. The toilet mechanism was held together by string. When I asked them to fix it so it would not be continually running water, they 'fixed' it by adjusting the string.
It was a convenient location
Room stank, dirty, mould on walls, bugs running across bathroom floor, toilet seat fell off, tv didn't work, stains on bedding etc etc the list goes on. We even noticed someone cleaning the front window on the door and thought it was a waste of time and even thought about suggesting leaving it dirty so nobody could see inside.
Everything else. Avoid this hotel if possible. Untidy, dirty, noisy. It is a wonder how this "hotel" still has its licence.
the neighbourhoud, the location (near paddington station)
the old and dirty furniture
Location was excellent- extremely close to rail, Tube line and buses, as well as cafes, pubs, groceries, etc.
Noisy- subway, street and construction noise. A bit run down for the area.
